The Unclothed Man in the 35th Century A.D. - Dash Shaw
I really enjoyed Shaw’s four-episode animated series, which focuses on the surrealistic and disturbing inner life of the protagonist at the expense of plot or characterization, much to its benefit. I picked up this companion book today - a beautiful bound hardcover with a clear plastic jacket, it contains the complete storyboards for the series and 80 pages of Shaw’s earlier comics. I’m looking forward to reading his giant 700-page graphic novel, Bottomless Belly Button.
