Who Knew?WHY? - The Hollows
Normally I would just classify this song as typical indie obnoxiousness, but the lyrics drew me in, and now I’m playing it on loop. All of their songs are the musical inverse of The Polyphonic Spree: a similar vocal style in the lead singer and a tendency to occasionally meander, but whereas the Spree are always happy and lyrically prosaic, WHY? trends toward melancholy and stream-of-consciousness lyrical complexity.
