Have you heard about the violent anti-emo youth movement in Mexico?

I am serious. Fueled by message boards and social networking sites, hundreds of youths have been gathering into mobs in Mexican cities looking for emos to beat up. More on this incredibly bizarre phenomenon here and here, and there’s a video of the demonstrations here.
