Samsung Launches New Mobile OS: “Bada” You may have noticed that I haven’t been posting as much tech news over the past three months: Condominance and various job-related endeavors have been taking up most of my time. Hopefully I’ll have the opportunity to re-immerse myself over the next few weeks, beginning with this enigma of an OS. What the fuck is Bada? From the looks of this website, doesn’t even seem like Samsung knows, or is willing to give much of a hint - the copy on every page is filled with vague PR language and lackluster branding. The only reason to make this kind of inane pre-announcement is to serve as a declaration of Samsung’s intent to move away from Windows Mobile, which may possibly be a good move? I guess? I officially have mobile OS fatigue. Seven was more than enough before. Goddammit.
