How to Export Vector Graphics from Illustrator to Photoshop Without Rasterization Select a path in Illustrator, click the icon in the upper-right corner of the Pathfinder, select “Make Compound Shape”, repeat for each individual path, THEN export to PSD. I am embarrassed at how many years it took for me to discover this.
